Berlin, 1945-2000: the exhibition will be closed from April 24th until further notice

Due to an amendment to the Infection Protection Act that was passed by the Federal Cabinet in Berlin on April 21st, the exhibition Berlin, 1945–2000: A Photographic Subject will be closed from April 24th until further notice. If you have purchased an online ticket to visit the exhibition any time after April 23rd, you will be contacted regarding a refund via email.

When we have more information about possible reopening dates, we will update our website and inform our visitors via our newsletter. In the meantime, for those interested in having a part of exhibition at home and in supporting our activities, limited edition prints by photographers Kurt Buchwald, Andreas Rost, and Werner Zellien can be purchased from the Stiftung Reinbeckhallen. For more information, please contact us at info@stiftung-reinbeckhallen.de.

On May 7th, Andreas Rost will meet with the curator, Dr. Candice M. Hamelin, in the exhibition to discuss his experiences in Berlin in the late 1980s and 1990s. More information about their talk and where to view it online can be found here.

We hope to welcome you to the Reinbeckhallen again soon! Until then, stay healthy!
