With the dance performance runners Hannah Schillinger picks up on the current Zeitgeist: just a moment ago we were running for capitalism’s sake without seemingly achieving a goal and now we are running to lay the ground for a sustainable future in time. The energy transition must go quickly, as there is not much time left. To gain more energy sovereignty is the order of the now. Not only on a political level is the immediate switch to renewable and more self-generated energy necessary, but the same is true for our bodies. How we treat ourselves reflects how we interact with the world.
With a focus on energy sovereignty, runners explores how energy levels and structures can be modulated and shaped, actively and regeneratively, in the Reinbeckhallen.
