In this workshop, we will experiment with a wide variety of writing and printing techniques, from the pen to letterpress printing. We will design typeface images and set the letters in motion. A trip to the Museum für Druckkunst Leipzig will also allow us to experience key developments from 550 years of printing history on historical printing presses.

The workshop starts at 10 AM and runs until 3 PM. The meeting point is the Wekstatt Neue Drucke at the Reinbeckhallen. We will be going on a one-day excursion to the Museum für Druckkunst Leipzig. On this day, Thursday, July 25, 2024, we will meet at the Reinbeckhallen at 8 AM. Delicious lunches, drinks and snacks will be provided every day.

On Friday, July 26, 2024, works made throughout the week will be presented in the Stiftung Reinbeckhallen’s Project Room (Haus 11) from 1 PM onwards.
