11 Years of Industrial Design at the HTW Berlin

The Department of Industrial Design at the HTW Berlin is celebrating its 11th anniversary this year and invites you to a retrospective, which will take place at the Reinbeckhallen between March 21st and 26th. Open daily from 9 AM until 8 PM, the exhibition will feature a selection of bachelor and project works from the past 11 years.

The Department of Industrial Design at the HTW Berlin was founded in 2011 by Katrin Hinz and Birgit Weller († 2021), professors who specialise in universal design and sustainability and who brought a visionary focus to the German university landscape. Over the years, the success of their endeavours has become evident not only in the department’s focus on their specialisations, but also in its growing number of students and the number of student projects that have received international awards.

This exhibition at the Reinbeckhallen will present a comprehensive overview of 11 years of industrial design at the HTW Berlin. Parallel to the retrospective, the current bachelor colloquia of the year 2022 will be held as publicly accessible presentations between March 21st and 26th.
